News > European Conference "Beyond Silos - The Why and How of ICT in Integrated Care Service Provision" on 23rd November 2011
Two European projects CommonWell and INDEPENDENT are jointly organising a European conference “Beyond Silos- The Why and How of ICT in Integrated Care Service Provision” on 23 November 2011. The conference will take place in the Evoluon conference centre in Eindhoven (Netherlands) in conjunction with the Smart Home Fair "Beurs Domotica & Slim Wonen 2011".

The conference will take place against the background that today healthcare and social care services are usually delivered independently leading to inefficiencies, duplication of resources or reduced levels of quality of care. ICT has the potential to support integrated service delivery to achieve high quality independent living and wellbeing for older people across Europe and elsewhere.

Conference topics include:

- Impact assessment
The conference is jointly organised by the CommonWell and INDEPENDENT projects working in the field of ICT-supported integrated care ( and
