HOME 04 - Study Visit in Granada News > HOME 04 - Study Visit in Granada
The first Study Visit of the HOME 04 project took place last 17th - 18th June 2010 in Granada. Delegates from all partner institutions attended the meeting: from the Sodermalm National Employment Agency in Stockholm, Venice City Council, the Andalusian Health Service, Granada City Council, Seville City Council and FADAIS.

In total, a group of about 20 professionals gathered with the aim of analysing the existing programmes and resources in Granada to tackle the issue of homelessness. The other dimension of this Study Visit was the exchange of good practices from other territories within the EU.
The programme of the visit started with an institutional welcome by the Town Counselor responsible for Family and Social Welfare Policy, Ms Ana López Andújar;  the Head of Social Voluntary Service from Junta de Andalucia, Ms Mercedes García; and Mr Manuel  Martín García, General Coordinator of the Family and Social Welfare Area.
The visit of the resources developed throughout the mornings of the 17th-18th, where the professionals learnt about the working methodologies of different Shelters and Hosting Houses for homeless people with different profiles: women, families, drugs addicts, etc.
Further to the professional visits and exchanges that took place, participants had the opportunity to visit the Alhambra and Generalife"
